Course Introduction

think STEP ensures that middle school students are ready to get top grades in AP and IB exams by the time they reach high school.

Critical thinking and communication skills take years to develop and are extremely difficult to catch up on if one starts too late.

Key Features

  • Customized curriculum based upon your school’s homework
  • Referral-only groups with 3-6 classmates
  • 1-on-1 tutoring combined with interactive group lessons
  • Development of foundational skills for high school’s AP and IB courses

Inspired by Harvard’s writing courses, Study STEPs integrates small, intimate group learning with 1-on-1 lessons, which combine to strengthen each student’s academic and communication skills.

With 3 to 6 students per class, interactive group learning teaches how to debate and exchange ideas about course readings; weekly 1-on-1 lessons focus on strengthening student writing.

To be the best, we must learn from the best. Study STEPs is inspired by Harvard’s Essay Writing Course and emulates Harvard’s classroom learning experience.

Our RAC Paradigm

Master all three language and critical thinking skills in our discussion-based program.

think STEP’s Read, Analyze, Communicate teaching paradigm requires students to discuss important topics, develop their own opinion, and express that opinion to others. Learning these critical thinking skills in a group setting helps students become more persuasive essay writers during each student’s weekly 1-on-1 lesson.
