• A teenager who grew up in poverty before being adopted has always had a soft spot for single mothers. Additionally, her adopted family had the financial resources to travel the world, and this student fell in love with the hotel (hospitality) industry.
  • After brainstorming about her values and future aspirations, thinkSTEP advised this teenager to create a recycling program that transferred old shampoo bottles from hotels to non-profit organizations for impoverished mothers. Her essay focused on how this project connected her childhood experience and her professional motivations to work in the hotel industry.
